The official download site for "raw" MOLA grids is located at:
This site has the MOLA Mission Experiment Gridded Data Records (MEGDRs) available at various resolutions. The Gridview user will need to use the "Load EGDR (IMG) Grid" option under the "File" tab to load a grid. The data comes as a pair of files. The “.img” file contains the actual gridded data and an associated ".lbl" file contains meta-data information that explains the contents of the ".img" file.
After the user selects "Load EGDR (IMG) Grid" a file selection window will pop-up for the user to select an ".img" file. After that, another windowl pops-up that requires the user to fill in five pieces of information needed by Gridview to accurately place the data geographically. This information can be found in the ".lbl" file.
The questions and the associated ".lbl" tags are:
| Min (East) Lon: | WESTERNMOST_LONGITUDE |
| Max (East) Lon: | EASTERNMOST_LONGITUDE |
| Max Lat: | MAXIMUM_LATITUDE |
| Min Lat: | MINIMUM_LATITUDE |
| Pixel per degree: | MAP_RESOLUTION |
Once the user enters the values and clicks "Accept" the grid will display in the main Gridview window.
