Ian works on detecting and measuring volcanic SO2 emissions using Total Ozone Mapping Spectrometer (TOMS) data. He has worked for Hughes STX, Corp. at the Goddard Space Flight Center for over two years. Ian has a B.S. in Physics from the University of Bristol, England (1989) and is currently taking Graduate classes in Meteorology at the University of Maryland at College Park.
